About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and technically skilled Mechanical Design Engineers to join our product development and R&D team. The candidate will work on 3D CAD modelling, mechanical component design, assembly development, design optimization, and manufacturing-ready engineering drawings.
Candidates interested in topology optimization, lightweight structural design, generative design, and simulation-driven product development are encouraged to apply. Both freshers with strong fundamentals and experienced professionals with practical design expertise are welcome.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D parts, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design mechanical components, enclosures, brackets, mounts, frames, and custom mechanical systems.
- Perform topology optimization and lightweight design studies based on defined design constraints.
- Conduct structural analysis and simulation, including stress, strain, deformation, and factor of safety.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, fits, and material specifications.
- Design components suitable for CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, 3D printing, and other manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with electronics, robotics, and embedded systems engineers to develop integrated products.
- Prototype, test, validate, and improve mechanical designs based on engineering requirements.
- Maintain CAD models, drawing revisions, bills of materials (BOMs), and design documentation.
Requirements
- Topology optimization and generative design.
- SolidWorks Simulation or equivalent FEA tools.
- Experience with 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
- Sheet-metal design, weldments, and enclosure design.
- CAD data exchange using STEP, IGES, STL, and other standard formats.
- Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and design validation.
- Experience with robotics, drones, electromechanical systems, or precision mechanical assemblies.
What we offer
- Opportunity to work on real-world engineering and R&D projects.
- Exposure to robotics, electronics integration, custom hardware, and advanced product development.
- Hands-on experience with CAD, simulation, prototyping, and manufacturing workflows.
- Opportunities to learn topology optimization and advanced mechanical design techniques.
- A collaborative engineering environment with scope for technical growth.
